From March 25–27, Refond Optoelectronics presented a wide range of innovations at the 2026 Auto Lamp Exhibition (ALE), including intelligent automotive lighting LED series, interior and exterior lighting solutions, advanced Mini LED backlight and display applications, and automotive color-changing film solutions.
The booth drew significant attention, showcasing Refond’s latest technological achievements in automotive lighting.
As the automotive industry accelerates toward intelligence and electrification, LED lighting has evolved beyond traditional illumination. It is now a core carrier integrating environmental sensing, human-machine interaction, and aesthetic design. Meanwhile, high integration, intelligence, and localization substitution are becoming key industry trends.
At the exhibition, Refond introduced its new 84-pixel ADB light source/module, featuring domestically developed ICs that enable pixel-level independent control.
With advantages such as low void ratio, high contrast, and low crosstalk, combined with micron-level pixel pitch for precise zoned illumination, the solution enables accurate beam control under all road conditions. It has already entered strategic mass production in collaboration with leading lighting manufacturers, with support for customization.
Refond also launched a new DLP LED solution, utilizing a ceramic substrate for superior heat dissipation and delivering high power density.
Even within extremely compact spaces, it achieves high-brightness output, making it ideal for miniaturized and ultra-thin projection modules, and providing more compact, efficient, and design-flexible light sources for automotive projection headlights.
With the acceleration of Level 3 autonomous driving, demand for intelligent driving signal lighting continues to grow.
Refond’s upgraded ADS Cyan (blue-green) LED supports multiple configurations, including direct-emitting chips and phosphor-based solutions, as well as single-color and dual-color options.
With a dominant wavelength range of 490–497.5 nm, it offers strong penetration capability, enhancing driving safety and supporting various intelligent driving indication scenarios.

Refond's interactive display LED solution supports multiple color configurations, including RGB, RG, R, and W LEDs.
Each LED provides uniform surface light emission, with package options such as 2323 and 3030. By enabling clear pixelated patterns, the solution empowers customized light-language displays.
It has already achieved mass production delivery of both light sources and modules, with automotive-grade certification, providing high-reliability and cost-effective solutions for in-vehicle lighting environments.
Refond showcased its second-generation automotive-grade ceramic high-power LED technology, featuring optimized chip designs and thermo-compression eutectic processes.
This enables a full power coverage matrix from 1 to 5 chips, ensuring automotive-grade reliability while further advancing localization substitution.
Leveraging its self-developed advanced packaging technology, Refond also presented diamond-based ultra-high power density LED products.
With a compact 5 × 5 mm design and stable 60W high-brightness output per LED, the product addresses common challenges of traditional high-power LEDs, such as rapid lumen depreciation and poor thermal conductivity, meeting the demanding requirements of automotive high-power lighting applications.
For automotive interior lighting, Refond introduced a full range of solutions, including:
Smart RGB 3535 ambient lighting
2020 ambient light strips
2216 ambient light strips
Healthy lighting solutions
These solutions comprehensively meet the demand for high-quality, intelligent, and health-oriented cabin lighting, enabling an upgrade from functional illumination to emotional interaction experiences.
In the field of in-vehicle displays, Refond showcased its 12.3-inch COB white backlight and 15.6-inch automotive backlight panel solutions, featuring:
High luminous efficacy and excellent uniformity
Ultra-thin and customizable design
Low cost and high reliability
These innovations support the realization of immersive interaction and lightweight design in intelligent cockpits.
Based on Mini LED direct-view display technology, Refond presented a series of innovative applications, including pixelated taillights and pixelated vehicle logos, enabling:
Fine and personalized display
Intelligent driving assistance
Enhanced human-vehicle interaction
A highlight of the exhibition was the debut of the ultra-thin Hongqi illuminated logo, which attracted significant attention.
Featuring a single red-light design, it delivers uniform illumination with adjustable brightness, while its ultra-thin and flexible structure breaks the limitations of traditional flat displays.
The design combines lightweight structure, low energy consumption, and high flexibility, supporting free-form customization and enhancing brand identity recognition.
Another major highlight was Refond’s innovative color-changing film solutions, including:
Interior and exterior automotive wraps
Integrated color-changing wheel hubs
Making their debut at ALE, these products combine dynamic color transitions with pattern design, creating interactive, visually rich display surfaces.
With ultra-low power consumption, they support low-carbon display concepts, enabling automakers to achieve highly personalized, technology-driven vehicle aesthetics.
Through its cutting-edge exhibits and strong technological foundation, Refond demonstrated a comprehensive and forward-looking layout from light sources to intelligent automotive lighting systems.
