Refond’s Mini LED Leads the World | Nothing Phone (2) Released!

On July 11th at 23:00 Beijing time, the new smartphone Phone (2) from the Nothing brand was officially launched overseas. The new product continues the design of the previous generation with a transparent glass and the iconic Glyph interface. It features a rearcover illuminated Mini LED light strip design, which is still manufactured by Refond.

Nothing Phone (2) has been improved in terms of product performance and personalized design. In addition to basic phone communication functions, the new design features a rear cover Glyph interface that enhances the interactive aesthetic and emphasizes humanmachine interaction experience.

The phone segments the Mini LED light strip of the Glyph interface on the rear cover into 33 lighting zones. Among them, the illuminating light strip of the Glyph wireless charging coil is divided into 6 segments with 16 LED lighting zones.

Users can have finer control over the LED array and dynamic function display on the rear cover through the phone's system. For example, without looking at the screen, users can obtain information such as volume, countdown, delivery status, taxi time, and charging status through the Glyph interface, enhancing its practicality.

The interactive light strip of the Nothing Phone adopts Refond's Mini LED direct display - Feather Series products, featuring selfemission, ultrathin and lightweight characteristics, adjustable high brightness, high reliability, fast response, low heat dissipation, and low power consumption. With a thickness of less than 0.5mm, the product is as lightweight as a feather, making it ideal for creating slim consumer electronic devices.

This series of products utilizes a more densely distributed chip layout and streamlined process structure compared to smallpitch LEDs, achieving delicate display effects and outstanding light efficiency. The surface can be customized with highquality film and different appearances to match the interactive needs of different smart devices, transforming the phone from a communication device into a personalized human machine interaction platform.

The independent segment application of the Mini LED flexible light strip provides more space for customized personalization. Users can also control and use the LED lighting in conjunction with music packs. The brightness of the dynamic light display can be adjusted to a brighter or darker level, making the product more versatile.

Nothing points out, "The Glyph interface now serves as a visual countdown and progress tracker for ridesharing or delivery services. It also provides additional functionalities such as a volume indicator and timer. With important notifications on the Glyph, users can stay focused without missing out on the most crucial messages. When receiving notifications from selected contacts or applications, the LED segment in the upper right corner will remain illuminated until the notification is addressed."
